Apple Blossom Festival

Wenatchee Apple Blossom Festival is an annual tradition with parades, fairs, carnivals, and car shows. Diane Younkin was lucky enough to ride one of the floats in the parade that her mom Valena had designed. The royalty was from Sunnyslope, Diane was a princess and John Benim was the float designer and Stuart McDougall was one of the matadors. The name of the float was 'Lady of Spain'. The year would have been 1966.
